Galb · terms of service

The agreement, in plain words.

These terms are between you and FALL SERVICES ("we"). By using Galb you accept them. They are written to be read. If a clause seems unclear or unfair, email us and say so.

1. What Galb is, and what it is not

Galb is a training app. It logs your lifts, builds programs, tracks your progress, and gives coaching guidance based on what you log and the photos you choose to analyse.

Galb is fitness guidance, not medical advice. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose anything, and it must not be used as a substitute for professional healthcare. Nothing it tells you is a clinical assessment. If you have a health condition, an injury, pain, or any doubt about whether an exercise is safe for you, talk to a doctor or a qualified professional before acting on anything Galb says.

Training carries risk of injury. You lift at your own risk, within your own limits, and you are responsible for your own technique and judgment.

2. The AI coach, and its limits

Galb's coach runs on Claude by Anthropic PBC. AI output can be wrong, and this kind especially so: photo analysis reads shape, proportion and change over time from ordinary photographs. It is an informed reading, not a measurement. It is not body composition testing, it has no clinical accuracy, and it should never be treated as a verdict on your body or your health.

Use your own judgment. Where the coach's advice conflicts with a professional's, follow the professional.

Nothing is sent to the AI without your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time. What is sent, and to whom, is set out in the privacy policy.

3. Who can use Galb

You must be at least 16 years old. By using Galb you confirm you are, and that the information you give us about yourself is accurate. The program you get is built from it.

4. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. Keep access to that mailbox secure: anyone who can read it can reach your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got in.

One account per person. Don't share it, and don't sell it.

5. Galb Pro

Tracking is free. Galb Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the coach: physique analysis on every check-in, unlimited coach conversation, and programs rebuilt around what your training shows.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by anything in this section. In the EU you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content; by starting a subscription and getting immediate access you agree that performance begins at once, which can end that right early where the law allows.

6. Your data and your content

Your training log, your photos and everything else you put into Galb remain yours. We claim no ownership. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store your data, sync it to your devices, and, where you have consented, send the parts described in the privacy policy to the AI coach so it can answer you.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or let anyone train AI models on it. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account; everything is destroyed permanently after 30 days.

Only upload photos of yourself, and only ones you have the right to use. Do not upload photos of other people.

7. Using it properly

Don't:

We may suspend or close an account that does these things, or that puts other users or the service at risk.

8. Availability and change

We try to keep Galb working, but we don't promise it will be available uninterrupted or error-free. Features change: they get added, reworked and occasionally removed. If we remove something a paid subscription materially depended on, we'll tell subscribers and deal with it fairly.

Galb depends on services we don't control: Apple, our hosting provider, and the AI provider. An outage at one of those can take a feature down with it.

9. What belongs to us

The app, the site, the Galb name and mark, and the software behind them belong to us. Using Galb gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it. The licence doesn't transfer any of that to you.

10. Ending it

You can stop using Galb whenever you like, cancel your subscription through Apple, and delete your account in the app. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we have to stop offering the service. In that case we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to get your data out.

11. Liability

Galb is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data where you had the means to keep your own copy, or for injury arising from training you chose to do. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence.

12. If you got Galb from the App Store

These terms are the licence for the app, and Apple requires the following to be said plainly:

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of France. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you can bring proceedings there. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

Please email us first. Most things are quicker to fix than to argue about.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll give reasonable notice in the app or by email before it takes effect, and you can stop using Galb and cancel if you don't accept it.
